When driving through the coastal road, between Pereybere and Cap Malhereux, you won’t help but notice a striking viewpoint of turquoise waters and northern islets; you are now in Bain Boeuf, a popular beach between locals with stunning views of Coin de Mire, Ile Plate and Ile Ronde.
While weekends may get crowded, early mornings and weekdays are fairly peaceful, with the only company of fishermen and their boats in the bay. A walk towards the right side will present you isolated little beaches and delicious breezy spots over basaltic rocks, a more authentic experience away from the noise and fumes of buses that pass just above the public beach. Shadows get scarce as the day runs by and hawkers don’t tend to visit the beach area, so make sure to bring your own drinks along.
